## Celebrating 25 Years at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish

I want to congratulate the parish of St. Maximilian Kolbe on the anniversary of its 25‑year celebration. The special Mass with the bishop, Father Jeff, Father Hector, Father David, and all the priests who were present was truly a joy. Thank you to everyone who helped make the celebration so beautiful.

## Day Three of the Novena

We now begin the third day of our novena to St. Maximilian Kolbe. Let us pray:

"O Lord Jesus Christ, who said, ‘Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends,’ through the intercession of St. Maximilian Kolbe, whose life exemplifies that love, we beseech you to grant our petitions. We pray especially for John and Roseanne in their health."

Through the Immaculate Movement, which St. Maximilian founded, a fervent devotion to Our Lady spread throughout the world. He gave his life for a total stranger and loved his persecutors, offering us an example of self‑sacrificial love inspired by true devotion to Mary. Grant, O Lord Jesus, that we too may give ourselves entirely, without reserve, to the love and service of our heavenly Queen, so that we may better love and serve our neighbor in imitation of your humble servant, St. Maximilian. Amen.

## Traditional Prayers

Let us now pray the Hail Mary:

“Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.”

(Repeated three times.)

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

*St. Maximilian Kolbe’s example calls us to love selflessly and to entrust ourselves to Mary’s intercession.*
