## Opening and Intentions

Hi, this is Bill Young. Today we pray to Our Lady for the sick. I would like to dedicate this prayer to John and Roseanne, Maryland and Juan Carlos, and Pat DeGardo, who recently moved to be with her sister’s family. May God be with all of them.

## Consecration Prayers to the Blessed Virgin

O Virgin Mary, Mother of God, present at the crucifixion, have mercy on my suffering body. Through the merits of your sorrows grant me relief and comfort. I consecrate myself to you, together with all my sorrows and sufferings.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

O Virgin Mary, Mother of God, who has witnessed many sick people healed by the hand of your Son, grant me faith in His merciful providence, that if it be His will He may give me the gift of health. I consecrate myself to you, together with my sorrows and sufferings.

O Virgin Mary, Mother of God, who saw your innocent Son suffer for my sins, help me bear my sufferings with patience. In the anointment of my sins, for the purification and sanctification of my soul, for the conversion of sinners, for peace in the world, and for the benefit of the whole Church, I consecrate myself to you together with all my sorrows and sufferings.

## The Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again; He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

## Prayer to Our Lady of Miracles

Our Lady of Miracles, my Mother Mary, you have made this place a center of pilgrimage and a source of grace. Grant me the grace I ask of you today, with all my heart.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Our Lady of Miracles, you have chosen a simple, humble people to carry out your will. Teach me that humility is necessary to obtain your graces. May my heart be simple and humble, that I may receive the grace I now ask of you.

Our Lady of Miracles, you have rewarded the faith of those who built this church. Be generous to us, granting every grace and benefit. May my love for you grow, and may your endless generosity be poured out upon me.

Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness, our hope. We cry to you, poor banished children of Eve, sinning and weeping in the valley of tears. Turn to us, most gracious advocate, and show us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O loving, sweet Virgin Mary, pray for us that we may be made worthy of Christ’s promises. Amen.

## Closing Prayer for the Lenten Journey

Dear Lord, as I make my Lenten journey with you, send me your Spirit. Help me give of myself, turn away from sin, and fast and pray so that I may know you better. Renew my desire to share your grace with the world. Amen.
