## Finding Time for Prayer

Happy New Year to all my friends from St. Max and to all my listeners. Many of us deal with busy and hectic schedules, and sometimes we simply don't find the time to pray. That is essentially what this show is about: providing an opportunity for us to pray more. Our goal is to try to pray daily, but if you cannot, perhaps you can listen to the recordings whenever you have the opportunity.

## Prayers for the Sick

I would like to ask for special prayers for a friend of ours named Marilyn, who has cancer. We will be going to her house tomorrow night to pray the Rosary. May she have blessings and strength in this time of need.

Today's prayer is called 'Sing the Praises of Mary Every Day.'

Sing the praises of Mary every day. Oh, my soul, venerate her feast and how wonderful her mysteries! Oh, pure one, without sin of a single stain, may I praise you with a pure and sincere heart. May I be chaste and modest, sweet, good, moderate, devoted, honest, both shrewd and simple. May I draw knowledge and courage from the Word of God. May I be attentive and shining with good.

Holy Virgin, look on how many dangers we must face. Sustain us so that we may remain steadfast and secure. Protect and help all Christians; give us peace so that evil times may not deter us. Amen.

*Even in the midst of a hectic life, we should strive for daily prayer and seek the intercession of the Blessed Mother.*
